What We Believe

Let us first say, you are loved by God. Believer and non-Believer alike. Jesus welcomes everyone to our church service. We do too! We will treat you with love and grace. We are not here to condemn or judge you. We simply want to connect you to our loving God and His Son Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit creates Christlikeness in the Follower.

Grace...God’s power realized in Jesus upon us in abundance - Jn 1:14-17 (progression of law, grace and truth) Grace is...the method of divine dealing in salvation and the believer’s life and service.

  • We are not under the law but under grace - Rom 6:14
  • Keeps sin from being master over us - Rom 6:14
  • We are saved by grace - Eph 2:7-9
  • He ceaselessly works through grace to impart to and perfect in him corresponding graces. We must give it away. Reproduce it. 2 Cor 1:12

We believe that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.

GOD THE FATHER

We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in Holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

JESUS CHRIST

“ Jesus is the exact representation of the Father’s nature. Jesus and God are one. He is eternally existent and part of the Godhead. He is God’s Son in position. He came in the flesh, born of a virgin, dwelt among us, and became the bearer of our sins taking the punishment as declared by God’s Law. He presently resides in Heaven at the right hand of God advocating for those who have believed upon Him as Lord and Savior.”

“ We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teaching, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal, visible return to earth.”

“ We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.”

HOLY SPIRIT

“ WE believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Jesus Christ.”

“ WE believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.”

“ WE believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit.”

SALVATION unto Eternal Life
By faith, not works. “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).

Is of the appointment of God. “For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

Is forever. “Lift up your eyes to the sky,  Then look to the earth beneath; For the sky will vanish like smoke, And the earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not wane” (Isaiah 51:6).

Is the power of God.For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).

Found in no one else. "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

WATER BAPTISM AND COMMUNION

“ WE believe that Jesus committed two ordinances to the church: 1) Baptism and, 2) the Lord’s supper. WE believe in baptism by immersion and communion open to all believers.”
